Adult Themes

All the players on here are adults. But if you can see in someone's +finger that their character is a minor, never -ever- -ever- include them in in ts or tinysex or anything that would get an adult rating on tv or in a videogame. It also includes heavier themes like torture or rape in stories. Rape is any scene involving sexual actions where the scene continues after one of the parties has given any indication icly (or oocly) that the scene is not what the character wishes for or would have chosen. We do not allow ic rape or torture here from pc to pc. Such situations are very intense and tend to get whole spheres involved, and create very extreme rp situations for everyone, even those only sideways connected. That is why we'd rather not have people use such play on this mush, there are so many other avenues to explore. However, if a rape or torture situation is unavoidable, or if it is something two players really really wish to explore and which is important to them, they can ask staff to have this rule lifted for those two particular characters -before- such play is done. Such negotiations should include if there will be a fade to black at any time during the scene or not, and if so, at which time. Staff should be asked this and know who is to be the victim and who the perpetrator, and in doing so the perpetrator gives up -all- ic consent rights if the situation is found out (and believe me, often it will). The perpetrator character is effectively turned into an FCC and can't even refuse ic death. Staff has the right to refuse to lift the rule if the group that would be involved in the results of finding out about such happenings has just dealt with something similar or if it would really unbalance an existing well working system. Staff will make this decision within the democracy structure and every staffer will be aware of the situation and they'll decide together if it won't be harmful to a sphere or a particular group on the mush. Staff will under no circumstances be forced to rule, judge, oversee or in any other way be involved in such scenes if they do not wish to, it is up to the players to find staffers who will help them if a judge or staffer is needed at all. If they get the green light the players can engage in their rp and it is required for both players to log their scenes concerning the rape or torture play, the actual happening of it and any scenes where people speak about it. Even though we do not require such logs unless problems would arise, still situations like this can often become problematic. If the victim in the situation changes his or her mind at any time before or while the first instance of the situation is rped out the whole process is -immediately- stopped and retconned and continuing discussion about it after it has been made clear that the process is stopped is equal to harassment. If players do -not- ask staff permission, however, -ahead- of time, both players involved will lose a trustvote. If it happens a second time that player shall be asked to leave the mush and not return.

Now we understand for many adults ts (Tinysex) is part of a character's inner life. We acknowledge this, but we also want to avoid having people on the grid who do nothing but ts. We ask you to not spend more than a third of your time on this mush in ts. It's your responsibility to keep an eye on this, because we do not spy on private rooms. It's your business what you do in those private rooms, but please make sure to come out of them to rp as well. Please try to avoid having ts in public places because we have players on the grid who do not enjoy this, and icly such activities would be considered illegal in most places. There will be a few rooms where such activity might be accepted, like nightclubs, and we'll have one or two on grid of those where minor characters are not allowed (basically the one nightclub on the grid). If you do choose one of these places (and -no- other public location is acceptable!), make sure if a player comes in to -stop- the activity or bring it to your private rooms. Only if an -adult- player consents to being confronted with such activity can you continue in an adult only public place (like a nightclub), and then again, this process is repeated any time another enters such a public room. So it is really better if you keep it to your private rooms.

You always need a player's consent before engaging into ts, but we also feel that is the business of two players and we don't have to set more rules for that, just realise that if you do not want to have ts with someone you should tell them no, and if they keep pushing, or if saying no is a problem for you, ask someone you trust, staff or player, for help and we will help you with the situation in a tactful way to all involved. Ask for this help before you get pressured into things you are not comfortable with, if at all possible! Also, on here, having no ts in your finger will be considered a valid no even if you have trouble saying no directly to someone. !ts or no ts or having your TINYSEX rp pref set to --- is enough if it's in your finger. Possible ts (and other rp) partners: it is -your- responsibility to -read- the ts and rp prefs of someone and if something is in someone's finger as a nono, you shouldn't even be asking them for permission for it. If you do, we will not be lenient.

One last thing we want to mention: we have seen on many mushes that ts is being used as a way to spend time and do some rp but not letting it actually effect your character and your rp. We want to ask all players to please remember that personal relationships have a big impact on characters and that that will also have consequences and results on the life of a character. We ask you not to just use this mush for ts without accepting consequences in your rp. The consequences will follow the same agreement rules as other actions, but you will not be able to avoid any consequences at all. By all means feel free to use ts in the development and roleplay of your character if it fits and if you are willing to accept realistic ic consequences. In principle the occurance of a pregnancy and the rp coming from that will be completely a choice of the concerned players. There is one exception, if someone consistently sleeps around icly unprotected for a longer duration and chooses to ignore any and all warnings, we as Staff might choose to let pregnancy or a sexually transmitted disease be a consequence for the actions taken icly.
