You can enter character generation if you have done the following things: * You have read 'news rules' and all the newsfiles mentioned in this if the rule was not clear to you, and promise to follow them. * You understand and agree with the ideas set out in 'news cooperative' and understand this is the basic premise of the mush and promise to keep to this, to work together with other players in a cooperative spirit. * You have read 'news trustvotes' and if you don't fully understand the ideas here you at least understand that trustvotes are a way for us to give ic rank and power to people who have proven they can be trusted with it and that you might not be given ic rank or power without them, and if you don't fully understand it further you promise to take time within a month to ask other players or staff about the specific details. * You make sure you set your rp prefs ('news prefs set') either now or before you get on the grid. * As outlined in 'news players' you promise to treat everyone, other staff and other players, with courtesy and to be cooperative in the resolution of conflicts. If you have done all this, and agree with the things mentioned here, you can type '&newsread me=yes' and it will set an attribute on your character that will allow you to enter character generation.
